SVG (Scalable Vector Graphics) is an XML based set of specifications for two dimensional vector graphics.  Development on SVG began in 1999, and since has become popular for web display, XSLFO document production, and more since 2001 when SVG1.0 became a W3C recommendation.

SVG 1.1 and SVG 1.1 (Second Edition) have since been recommended by W3C and it is our objective to stay in compliance with SVG standards for our customer's benefits.  There are, however, some unsupported SVG elements due to lack of applicability in our common product usage.  Below you can find more information on Ecrion's SVG Compliance.

SVG is supported as input format with our products.  Compare versions of our Ecrion Omni System and XF Rendering Server to learn more.
